Just An FYI For Anyone With Low Back Issues

This is a post from a low back surgery patient on the Spine-health website:

"My hospital billed BC/BS $93,000 for surgery costs and 3 day stay in the hospital. Of that, the insurance paid $61,000. My doctor billed the insurance $19,400 and was paid about $6000. The anesthesiologist charged $5000, but was paid $2000. This surgery is expensive."

It is so much better financially and physically to be proactive with back issues and take steps to keep our backs strong, avoid repetitive strains and seek conservative care BEFORE it becomes a big issue.
